Bullet Journaling for Beginners

  • First Church in Salem 316 Essex Street Salem, MA, 01970 United States (map)

Are you looking to add some mindfulness into your life? Do you like the idea of journaling, but struggle to sit down and write every day? Do you wish you could have your calendar, to-do list, records, and more all in one place?

If you answered “yes” to any of the questions above, then bullet journaling might be for you! Join Director of Lifespan Religious Education and bullet-journaler Theo Burbank for an easy introduction to this practice.

A Bullet Journal is a great, low-pressure way to get into journaling or mindfulness practices. There is no right or wrong way to do it! This workshop will give you some examples of the different ways that people use bullet journals, and then allow you a bit of time to work on setting up your own. Hopefully we will all inspire each other!

For this workshop, you will need:

  • Access to Zoom

  • A bullet journal OR printed bullet pages (blank, lined, or graph paper will work as well, but will make some things more difficult)

  • Pens (felt tip or gel pen recommended, but anything will work)

  • Optional:

    • Markers or highlighters

    • Stickers

    • Ruler and/or Drawing Compass

    • Stencils

This event is free and open to all. Please sign up here in order to get the zoom link.
